Oh stars, you little dots so far
In thee, I wish to glimpse a world
A quiet world, with its door ajar
Inviting, yet where mystery swirled…
And every night you move, so wise
So different, now for millennia, like a game
Be gazed upon by greater eyes
Than mine, but with dreams the same…
What worlds within you hide, unknown
Is there another me who cries?
When the lovely yellow moon has flown
And crimsons race across the skies…
In light years, measureth the distance so,
Far you are, so shiny, in that deep blue dome
I wish I could just jump on a ship and go
To meet a distant star, and bring it home…
