A night under the stars
Some morning mist’s glory
A river, flowing slowly by
They speak an unspoken story
A waterfall, gushing, roaring by
A meteor flashing in the night
Like a lost and wandering firefly
With a squirrel chattering in delight
A winding path up yonder a hill
Bathed in lichen, mossy green
Some yellow light, through the eucalyptus trees
In riotous colors of fall, never seen
What stories tell they, we’ve never heard
And yet we boast of man’s great things
If but one song we ask, that lovely bird
Of the Creator’s deeds, he always sings…
